Who is it for?
The club is designed for a range of abilities. The only people it’s not designed for are complete beginners.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to be fluent?
Not at all! You just need to know some Spanish and be able to take part in a basic conversation. Whether you’re a hesitant speaker or already very confident, the club gives you somewhere to practise and keep improving.
Will you be teaching Spanish?
This is a speaking club, not a Spanish lesson. I’ll guide the sessions, introduce topics, provide conversation prompts and help when needed, but the focus is on using the Spanish you already know rather than studying grammar or working through a course.
What will we talk about?
All sorts! Each session will have a weekly theme to get the conversation flowing, alongside plenty of general chat. Expect topics such as everyday life, Spain, food, travel, culture, experiences and opinions — and probably a few unexpected tangents too! In fact that’s exactly why this club will help you deal with unpredictable situations when chatting with native speakers.
I'm nervous about speaking. Is this for me?
Absolutely. You don’t need to become confident before you join — speaking regularly is how you build that confidence. The atmosphere will be friendly and supportive, with no expectation of perfect Spanish. Mistakes are welcome; silence is considerably less useful!
When will the sessions take place?
I’m currently collecting expressions of interest, so the days and times haven’t been finalised yet. I’ll use the availability of those interested to help decide when to run the sessions.
How much will it cost?
Pricing hasn’t been finalised yet. Registering your interest is completely free and doesn’t commit you to joining. You’ll receive full details, including pricing, before deciding whether the club is right for you.
I'm a complete beginner. Can I join?
Not quite yet. Because ¡Hablemos! is about practising rather than learning Spanish from scratch, you’ll need some existing Spanish to take part. If you’re a complete beginner, starting with either in person or online Spanish lessons first will give you the foundations you need to join us later.
